At Christ the King RBC we're always excited to welcome new visitors! We hope you'll join us for our worship service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our Sunday worship service.
Since we are a new church plant, we will be holding our worship services in downtown Utica at the DeSales Center across Genesee Street from the Muson-Williams-Proctor Art Museum starting January 1st, 2023 at 10:30am. The address for The DeSales Center is 309 Genesee Street in Utica. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot next to the DeSales Center and street parking is also available.
When you walk in, you will be warmly greeted and welcomed and handed a bulletin that includes all of the information needed for the service as well lots of additional information about our church and helpful resources.
We do have a nursery for children ages 3 and under, so if you would like to utilize that please be sure to ask about it. We like to keep children age 4 and older in the service with us, as we believe that family-integrated worship is both biblical and helpful for our children. You can read more about family-integrated worship HERE.
Our worship service is a combination of prayer, scripture reading, songs, corporate responses, and preaching. As stated, the bulletin will walk you through exactly what is happening and when. Should you have any questions, any one of our current members would be more than happy to assist you at any time during the service!
Be sure to hang around after the service and join us for a time of fellowship and food. Many of our ladies love to cook so we always have plenty of food. If you are someone who loves to cook or bake, feel free to bring something to share. If not, then we will absolutely have plenty of delicious goodies for you and your family to enjoy. This is a great time to be able to visit with our pastor and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so that you're a familiar face the next time you come!
