At Christ the King RBC we're always excited to welcome new visitors! We hope you'll join us for our worship service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our Sunday worship service.
Since we are a new church plant, we will be holding our worship services in South Utica at the Silas D. Childs Memorial Chapel on Oneida st (inside Forest Hill Cemetery).
When you walk in, you will be warmly greeted and welcomed and handed a bulletin that includes all of the information needed for the service as well lots of additional information about our church and helpful resources.
Because of the layout of this 19th century building where we meet, we are unable to offer nursery. However, we love children of all ages and encourage them stay in the service. This stems from our belief that family-integrated worship is both biblical and helpful for our children. You can read more about family-integrated worship HERE.
Our worship service is a combination of prayer, Scripture reading, songs, corporate responses, and expositional preaching. As stated, the bulletin will walk you through exactly what is happening and when. Should you have any questions, any one of our current members would be more than happy to assist you at any time during the service!
Be sure to hang around after the service and join us for a time of fellowship and food. Many of our ladies love to cook so we always have plenty of food. If you are someone who loves to cook or bake, feel free to bring something to share. If not, then we will absolutely have plenty of delicious goodies for you and your family to enjoy. This is a great time to be able to visit with our Pastor and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so that you're a familiar face the next time you come!
